The operatives of the Intelligence Response Team of the Nigeria Police Force headed by Mr. Aliyu Abubarkar a Deputy Commissioner of Police recently arrested a twenty-six year old Zachariah Adakule at Masaka area of Nasarawa State with the aid of analysis generated on his phone number.
Though, the suspect was arrested through a report from his former Chinese employer by name Tian Jiaguang who resides around Wuse ll, Abuja. The Chinese National earlier reported his kidnap incident at the Garki Police Station about three bandits armed with two pistols and one long knife and attempted to kidnap him but he managed to escape to the station then explained to the police that he can identify one of them which happened to be his former staff who was recently sacked.
Zachariah Adakule a carpenter, iron bender, painter and a bricklayer whose wife is presently pregnant explained to www.mp3dailynews.com.ng that he actually attempted to kidnap Mr. Tian Jiaguang in his house with three others with arms to collect his salary he owed him but he escaped.
The suspect who is still in the police custody explained further that he use to be paid the sum of Two Thousand Six Hundred Naira on a daily basis any day he is engaged and he was engaged since July, 2023 though have been working with Mr. Tian Jiaguang since December 2021. He roared that the working condition is nothing to write home since he get paid at end of the day.
"since 8th September, 2023 when I travelled back from Lagos, he refuse to pay me knowing fully well that I have a pregnant woman at home and to make matter worse, he drove me out of his company for no reason and I decided to kidnap him with the aid of Kamoru my friend I recently met’.‘I was almost committing suicide but decided to make that move to see if I can get my money, Kamoru brought two other of his friends with two locally made pistles and a cutlass then we went straight to Mr. Tian Jiaguang’s house though he was upstairs at the time we got there, though saw two people and one of my colleague by name Ola who was persuading me not harm Mr. Jiaguang. I tried explaining to him that I am only threatening him just see that he pays me my money, but at the end the scuffle, Mr. Tian Jiaguang escaped from the scene through the fence giving him room to report at the police station and that is how I found myself here" he said.
