FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY: 'Get Me The Two Running Suspects Dead or Alive...I will Give You Twenty Million Naira' Immediately' Wike

Today, at the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, Honorable Nyesom Ezenwo Wike the Federal Capital Territory Minister charged the Police Command to pursue and arrest the two run away suspects and bring them to him dead or alive then get the reward of Twenty Million Naira' Immediately.

The two suspects, Dahiru Adamu and Abu Ibrahim, both from Niger State and known as cattle rearers, were also part of the group that killed a district head in Abuja, and other kidnappings in Kabusa, Kutu and other villages within Abuja.

Wike appreciated the zealousness of the Police Command so far then asked them to do more since Abuja belongs to everyone dwelling there. He praised Mr. Benneth Chinedum Igweh the Command Commissioner of Police for his hard then also appreciates the media covering the Federal Capital Territory and it's environs.

While in his welcome address, CP. Benneth Chinedum Igweh reeled out the command’s most recent accomplishment within two days in the attempt to rid the city of criminality, arrested some suspects for several offences which are as follows:-

ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERY “ONE CHANCE” SUSPECTS

On 11/02/2024 at about 4:00 PM, the operatives of the FCT Police Command attached to Mabushi Divisional Headquarters, in the continued fight against criminality arrested eight (8) notorious armed robbery suspects terrorising FCT, namely;

Auwal Yusuf (an ex-convict), Ismail Hudu, Sylvester Poto and Abdusalam Mamuda, Sunday Udoma (Akido)I, feoma Ngoze ObodoM, uhammed Telegbe ChocolateS and Sarah Mohammed Telegbe

Acting on credible intelligence, the suspects who are responsible for several one chance activities in the past were trailed to Central Area in an attempt to rob some innocent resident and were promptly arrested. The suspects confessed to using toy guns and knives to scare their victims to illegally obtain from them. Suspects will be charged to court soon.

ARREST OF MOST WANTED SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS

On 13/02/2024 at about 5:00PM, acting on credible intelligence, the operatives of Utako Divisional Headquarters, in concert with the Anti-Kidnapping unit of the Command arrested Seven (7) suspects namely; 

Usman Muhazu, Aliyu Muhammed, Auwal Lahiru,Rabiu Sani, Madina Abubakar, Jonah Elimelechi, Saminu Idris

They were arrested in Pyankasa, Tudun Wada and Ketti village, FCT, in connection to the kidnap of 14 notable persons in the Federal Capital Territory. These kidnappers who have been giving FCT a sleepless night and on the wanted list of the Command for a long time, have now been arrested. They are responsible for the kidnapping of ;

5 victims in Federal Mortgage Housing Estate, Kabusa.

3 persons at Ketti village, Fulani residents of Alhaji Sani.

One Mr Sunday Zakwai and four others. They equally Killed the district head.

Two staffs were kidnapped at Defence estate Kabusa.

Igweh explained that the total of twenty three suspects was arrested and the cash of sum of nine million Naira, six AK 47 Rifles, bullet proof Vests and a locally fabricated walkie-talkie was recovered.
