History was made on the 25th May 2024 as the government of Enugu State presents certificate of return to Engineer Joseph Chinedu Uzo led town union Executives of Adu Development Union of Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State. He then charges them to support development strides of the State Government.
Speaking at the event which took place at the conference room of the Ministry of Rural Development of the State, Deacon Okey Ogbodo the Commissioner of the Ministry congratulated the newly elected Excos for their victory at the pool. The permanent secretary who was represented at the event by the Director, Town Union Development, Mrs Queendaline Odike charged them to discharge their responsibilities with diligence and determination inline with the laid down procedures.
He urged them to be accountable to the community adding that community attract development through cooperation of members of the community. . He called on them to justify their victory by proving leadership that will take the community to the next level.
In his remarks, the President General , Engineer Joseph Uzo thanked the Ministry for providing enabling environment for the peaceful conduct .
Mr. Uche Alexander the Public Relation Officer highlighted some points of the event which was a visit to the hospital to see some members of the community who was recently involve in car crash.
