A special appeal from Honourable Isaiah Overare the President of Nigerians Voice For Good Governance explained that since the Local Government elections have ended in some states like Delta State, the citizens should start enjoying the dividend of democracy.
The elected Chairmen should touch the grassroots by putting the interest of the masses first by avoiding Godfatherism because it is the people that voted for them.
Overare elaborated that his organisation bares it all because they are not praise singers since they represent the governing and the governed. That their duty is to advise the governments when necessary.
"Please our Local Government Chairmen should endeavour to touch the communities under their watch positively" Overare said.
Overare further explained that Nigerians Voice For Good Governance is all about supporting democracy, effective leadership and anything that will make the masses breathe.
