The Federal Capital Territory Police Command, in Abuja get ready for the upcoming October 1st Independence Day celebration by strategically deploys adequate personnel and equipment throughout Abuja.
In press statement signed by Mrs. Josephine Adeh a Superintendent of Police, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, explained that the proactive deployments is aim to ensure that Abuja residents enjoy a hitch-free Independence Day celebration. That the deployment will include Explosive Ordinance Disposal personnel, anti-riot equipment, visibility policing, among others.
Traffic diversions will be implemented in areas expected to experience large crowds, including Central Area and Eagle Square.
