Nigeria Police Boss Eulogises Late General Lagbaja During Condolence Visit to His Widow

Mr. Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun the Inspector-General of Police and the full team of the defence headquarters paid a condolence visit to the widow of the late Lieutenant General Taoheed Lagbaja the former Chief of Army Staff, Mrs. Mariya Lagbaja at his official residence in Abuja.

The Police Boss described the late Lagbaja, as a great man who dedicated his life and wealth of experience to defending our nation's security space. He was in the company of the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar the Minister of State Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, General Christopher Musa the Chief of Defence Staff, service chiefs, and other senior officers from the Defence Headquarters in Abuja.

Egbetokun while reiterating the significant role the Lagbaja played in fighting insurgency and terrorism in Nigeria, he noted that the late General's death is a great loss to Nigeria nd has surely created a vacuum. He, on behalf of the Nigeria Police Force, again expressed condolences to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Force, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,  the Armed Forces of Nigeria, family and friends of the late Chief of Army Staff and prayed that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
