Alhaji Muhammad Rabiu a Commissioner of Police of the Kaduna State Police Command ensures that Kaduna State Citizens Sleeps with their two closed since he resumed on the 2nd January, 2025 as the 45th Commissioner of Police in Kaduna.
Though Born on July 16, 1969, in Ketare District, Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State, he joined the Nigeria Police Force in 1994 and has held numerous strategic positions throughout his career.His service record includes commanding roles as Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Kubwa, Durumi, Gwagwalada, and Life Camp within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
The Kaduna State Police Boss has also served as Assistant Commissioner of Police (AC Ops) in Taraba State, Police Component Commander of Operation Delta Safe in Yenagoa, and held leadership posts in critical tactical units such as: Commander, 5 PMF, Benin; Commander, 22 PMF, Lagos; Commander, SPU Base 6, Port Harcourt; Deputy Commander, Operation Safe Haven, Jos; and DC Operations, Ondo State Police Command.
His appointment comes with high expectations, as the command expressed confidence in his ability to steer the state towards enhanced security and community engagement.
A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, CP Rabiu holds a Master’s degree in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice. He has received numerous commendations for gallantry and professionalism, with expertise in operational leadership, intelligence-driven crime strategies, and strengthening police-community relations.
He is happily married with children.
