Abuja Security Spokespersons Forum Holds Strategic Meeting to Strengthen Inter-Agency Collaboration

 

The Federal Capital Territory Security Spokespersons Forum held its strategic meeting on at the Federal Fire Service of the Federal Capital Territory Command Headquarters, Kubwa, Abuja.




The forum, which brings together Public Relations Officers and spokespersons from all security and emergency response agencies within the FCT, was convened to strengthen collaboration and discuss innovative communication strategies aimed at improving public awareness, information management, and operational synergy.

Participants emphasized the importance of effective communication, coordinated messaging, and timely information sharing among security agencies. They noted that greater synergy between personnel of the respective agencies would enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and overall public trust.

Representatives from the Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, and the Federal Fire Service FCT Command , among others, attended the meeting.

Members unanimously agreed that the collaboration should not end with the meeting but be extended to other levels of inter-agency relations, training, and joint public enlightenment initiatives to ensure a safer and better-informed Federal Capital Territory.
