Mr. Miller G. Dantawaye a Commissioner of Police in charge of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command has ordered the immediate redeployment Mr. Babale Galadima a Superintendent of Police, the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Gwarimpa Division to the Command Headquarters to face administrative disciplinary proceedings over allegations of professional misconduct raised by members of the public.
This action is in line with the earlier directive to all Divisional Police Officers and their subordinates to remain professional, courteous, and law-abiding in the discharge of their duties. He reiterated that any act of misconduct, unprofessionalism, or abuse of office will not be tolerated and will attract appropriate sanctions.
In the same vein, the Police Boss has approved the posting of Mr. Nasir Gusau a Chief Superintendent of Police as the new Divisional Police Officer of Gwarimpa Division with immediate effect. He charged the new Gusau to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ensure respect for human rights, maintain civility in engagements with the public, and align fully with the Command’s strategic operational goals.
Dantawaye appeals to residents of Gwarimpa and its environs to cooperate with the new DPO and continue to support the Police in their collective effort to maintain peace, law, and public safety within the Division.
